I have been trying to figure out how to fax a paper the BMV needed for my car registration for a while. Matt took it to the FedEx and they do not do international faxes. We have asked in multiple stores that say they fax, but they do not do international faxes. It has been really frustrating. I have walked around Conocoto and a shopping area near here called Triangulo. We have looked while on the bus and scoped places out. Finally we found out that Eduardo and Alexandra had a fax that could do international faxes which was great news. So today Alexandra picked up the kids and I at the bus stop close to work and took us to her house to fax. She was more than accommodating and gave us lunch too. We are so appreciative of all they have done for us and could not thank them enough. Unfortunately, the line was blocked for international calls for some reason and we could not fax it. Luckily my dad was on top of things and was able to use the scanned version and the county sticker to register the car today. Who knew it would take so much energy to register my car. You would think they would take my money and not worry about where I am, but I guess not. The paperwork had to be in before my birthday this weekend so we were cutting it close. God was watching out for us on this one. This is just one example of how our guardian angel was looking out for us because everything just worked out. It seems like that kind of thing has happened a lot and we are so appreciative.
As an FYI, we may not be able to blog the next two days since we are taking a little trip to Mindo. I will get to it on Sunday night or Monday. Buenas Noches!
