Today was the exact opposite of yesterday. It was truly a pleasant day. The kids and I had a really great morning with no breakdowns. There were no fights between the kids and everyone liked what they were given for breakfast. The kids were able to pick their snack for the day and we even got to the bus stop a few minutes earlier. Because we were earlier, the bus was not nearly as full as yesterday and yet again, I was given a seat by a nice man. The sun was out almost all day, but there was a pleasant breeze. The kids played really well with the other children today and they seem to be making more friends everyday. Then after dinner we went for ice cream and shared with our host family. The kids played nicely all evening too and I was able to read to the kids with them nestled on my chest. I can truly say this was a pleasant day. I am so thankful for days like these.
On a sad note, I got news today that a child I treated at Cardinal Hill passed away. Please pray for the family. They have fought a long fight for their little girl.
